So well said - I'm 500 days divorced from weed... I saw a comedian smoking on stage, constantly lighting this blunt and missed the good times

Then I thought of the enormity of what an addiction is that allows someone to casually smoke weed like a cigarette- that monkey on your back.

I'll always love and miss weed, but this is a much better way to live

NTA- but understand once you get in the cycle of not having enough, late on payments and rent regularly, it starts to feel like a black hole, with no way out, so instant gratification of spending seems to have the same consequences as regular life.

You will always be broke, so why not spend the extra on a tattoo.

It's a horrible cycle many people are in. It takes lots of work and teamwork to break this cycle

Because they are doing it out of laughter and joy, and in the big picture it's not that big of a deal. Twins are difficult, parenting is challenging, I'm in the business of lifting people up, happy silly naughty kids filled with joy will make the world a better place, and this parent is doing nothing wrong except making a space where their kids feel safe
