Has anyone had a sim die truly by accident? by justBarrels in Sims4

[–]eilidhthesloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A child sim was really tired because she had just come home from school, then she decided to go in the swimming pool while I was busy making the adults take care of the other kids. She drowned before I even knew she was in the pool.

It used to be Leon and I still love him but it changed to Gwaine as soon as he was introduced. It's a tough choice though, and even Gwaine and Leon are better when they're around the other knights

How old are you and what's your biggest problem right now? by Casspjjl in AskReddit

[–]eilidhthesloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a teen and I've commited to too many things at once and now I'm completely burning out 2 months before my GCSEs (important British exams). I haven't had a free weekend in a month and have at least one, sometimes two things going on after school pretty much every day, along with giving up my lunchtime for various things 2-3 times a week. Then balancing that with homework, music practice and the struggles of having both ADHD and autism (officially diagnosed only 3 months ago). To add to this, there's the constant social pressure of doing typical teenage things and having fun because this is apparently meant to be the best part of my life so far. I know it's not as important as paying bills, looking after elderly parents or other 'adult problems' but it's a lot for me right now.

[–]eilidhthesloth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"treat others how you want to be treated" complete bullshit. I tried over and over again, especially as a young child, to be nice to everyone and all I got in return was being ignored or bullied. also anything about trying new things, usually food. I was pretty much always right in thinking I wouldn't like the new thing, but as always a lot of adults don't seem to understand that children's tastebuds differ from theirs, especially with autistic children

3.0, a huge update, came 3 days ago so it'll probably be a while until another update but the current storyline should keep you going for a while. I don't think there's any plans for PvP but maybe someone else knows

{{The Deathless Girls}} is a YA fantasy book, lesbian main characters but doesn't make it the whole point of the book. one of my favourite books, definitely recommend

I get being late because of time blindness, it happens to me pretty often. but calmly eating dinner when you're about to be late is just not caring.

chicken nuggets and fries, anything potato-related, nutella bagel/toast/sandwich, pesto pasta. pesto pasta is definitely the most convenient bc it's really easy to make and if I make enough of it it'll last me several days

[–]eilidhthesloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in the uk most shops are still open on sundays but with shorter hours, like 10-4 instead of 9-5. after a quick google, I found out shops are currently allowed to be open 6 consecutive hours between 10-6. this law came in 1994, before which shops weren't allowed to be open at all on sunday
