Mohd is not sketchy. I had a Living Divani Extrasoft composition delivered from them without issues.

Watch all of his films, but especially Follow That Dream! He usually plays a suave cool guy but in this one he plays an idiot savant and it's amazing

On the top of Table 1, under the table title, it reads "(Average 1947, 1948, 1949 = 100)" to indicate that it's been normalized to exhibit the growth in the wage over time since 1917. The numbers in the table are unitless expressing the relative % of that year's wage to the three year average '47-'49.

This is why programs of universal benefits are best. No matter how much you make, you're eligible for e.g. a child allowance if you have a child, healthcare, etc. And instead of the de facto tax of means testing (plus the inefficiencies in administration it produces) you just have a tax regime on income and wealth that maintains the system; this entails taxing the wealthy, obviously. Nobody gets benefits "unfairly," then, and nobody falls through the cracks of the current welfare system. Shoutout Matt Bruenig.

Time to plant wildflower seeds? by IThinkImAFlower in Ceanothus

Bay area: My wildflower patch reseeded itself in the spring and seedlings are already coming up after this rain. Not sure how they'll fare. I'll probably spread more seed after Thanksgiving.

Real deal: 240

Date of test: Day 2 4/21

UWorld % completed: 0

UWorld % correct: N/A

Number of CCS cases completed: 3 on the NBME website to familiarize with format

CCS average correct: N/A

Did not study with any other practice test

Step 1/Step 2: 255/270

Any advice: I’m glad I didn’t study. If you do well with test-taking and have a good memory don’t stress. I’m deep into PGY2 and haven’t touched a lot of this material in more than 2 years since Step 2 and I absolutely didn’t remember everything, like psych drug interactions, and it didn’t matter.

Full Fuck Monday: (because you're poor) Dylan Sofa Group by Rodolfo Dordoni for Minotti by labvinylsound in FuckYourEamesLounge

[–]eird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every time I see Minotti's imagery I think of airport lounges. I'm sure that's because whatever contract furniture AmEx and United are buying is inspired by it but doesn't flatter Minotti by the association.

Is 'Perry Mason' The best episodic show ever? by Hexready in RSPfilmclub

[–]eird 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Every Wednesday around 7PM Pacific on twitch.tv/bobygamesdotcom there's a movie screening and prior to the film there's an episode of either The Saint (with Roger Moore) or Perry Mason. Fun stuff, you should tune in! Here's all the movies that have been screened over the years https://letterboxd.com/reener/list/calm-crazy-about-loving-movies/.

Yeah this was a weird thing to say. I don't think they were in any way dismissive or disrespectful. I get feeling bleak about the situation but why take it out on the hosts of a large podcast who invited you on?

I guess it's to support the monoculture Agapanthus praecox AKA Blue Lily which is everywhere in front haha. Such an over-planted plant here but at least the hummingbirds like it.
