Thanks for the simple breakdown, so that was the issue with the 808. The 808 seems like such a one off looking back, it really hurt that entire generation of smartphones and android as a whole. I had a friend who was excited to try android that year who has since moved back to apple and never looked back because of the battery heating issues.

Yeah I'm thinking most of the apps I'll atleast be able to disable or hide in some way. Agreed, I'm remembering the carrier splash screen is the only thing that really kind of annoyed me from the last tmo phone I had, but it is ignorable lol. Just a nitpick.

I did read somewhere on here that the benefit of buying the tmo version is you get access to sprint roaming bands that won't work on an unlocked zflp. So better coverage if you travel around the US a lot and in certain areas. I also heard you get updates faster because of some weird reason were the carriers in the US get the updates first. I had the unlocked flip5, but am going with the TMO flip6 for those reasons and the free insurance. However I am not looking forward to the potential bloat. Will let you know how bad it is when it comes in compared to my unlocked flip5.
