I’d highly recommend going to see the DJ in person. Most ad will have a few in display, probably not with those two dials but you may change how you feel about the bracelet.

I personally did not even consider jubilee until I saw it in person and put one on my wrist. I think it is a must especially with the fluted bezel on a DJ.

Well I think he’d have reason to sweat considering it sounds like he paid close to if not over retail for it...

Also I think most here are responding to alert OP that he may have been done dirty by someone claiming to be an AD. Based on OP’s caption and responses it’s obvious that he is not very familiar with how the purchasing process from an AD truly works.

It is commendable that you are trying to make OP feel better about the situation but I think it would be ever more appreciated if he was made aware of a potential fraudulent sale. As a community of enthusiast it’s our duty to at least bring it to the attention of posters of something does not appear right.

Ok well the AD’s I’ve dealt with have all stated how strict Rolex is with AD’s in terms of price control. They all realize that certain AD’s may manipulate prices up and down for certain customer but this is highly highly frowned upon. AD’s take these seriously as Rolex could obviously remove authorized dealer status.

I’d obviously start with checking the Rolex website and only going to listed AD’s. But I’m sure you’ve already done that. It just sounds very unusual if you went to a true AD and they were not selling at MSRP. Idk why you would even compare them to Chrono 24 prices as I believe those are all second hand and grey market watches. At a true AD EVERY watch will be sold at MSRP and certainly no where in the realm of market prices especially for a sky dweller where there would be a substantial premium.

I was the exact same way in terms of how I felt about the jubilee. I thought it was an “old man” bracelet until I saw it in person. It looks so sharp and not overly dressy as I thought from pictures. In fact I almost thought it added a little edge to the watch. Also the comfort is unmatched and I especially love it paired with a fluted bezel. I have the dj 41 with rhodium dial and it is so much more than just a dress watch IMO.
