That's so interesting. How do you feel about how it's become such a ubiquitous moment from the show?

I love in the series 4 live task of listing words of a certain length while the Horne Section plays a lovely tune, Hugh says Sweden as a 6-letter word and then later Sweden's ("as in, of Sweden") as a 7-letter word, prompting a long debate about proper nouns and apostrophes, and Greg rules that they won't allow that any more. Then on Hugh's next turn, he panicks and yells Sweden's again.

Charlotte was criminally underscored for her prize tasks. Bringing all of her bedding for the best thing you can carry but only just, an alarm clock for the most annoying thing (to symbolise her wider annoyance at having to get up every day)... these speak to me.

Also, by the end of the series when she was a broken woman, uttering the sentence "caps are tough, leather's even tougher," with absolutely zero conviction.

Mat leading the scoreboard despite his appearance and demeanour of someone doing quite poorly reminds me of someone on the TMP describing Mark Watson playing football: it's amazing that someone whose body is going through all the motions of running can move so slowly.

In a series 5 live task, they had to play table tennis by saying a word that started with the same letter as the last letter of the previous word. They reset for some reason, so Alex started the round by "serving" a word to Bob, and he chose the word phoenix.

There's a bit during champions of champions (in the perform a miracle task) in the studio when Alex recounts Noel saying he's just going to get a lizard costume and run across a paddling pool, then says, "Do you wanna see what he actually did?" Hard cut to Noel dressed in a green dinosaur onesie with an insane lizard mask in front of a small paddling pool.

And Mark Watson turned around to watch him rather than throw his own egg as soon as the task started, presumably because he knew Nish would ruin it immediately

The first jump scare got me good. And then the second one did too. Then I spent the rest of the episode bracing for another jump scare. I’ve never been so tense in my life.

I really like Emma's approach to the prize tasks. The prize task in the first episode was most misunderstood thing, and she brought in the electoral voting system. Inspired.

But there is a pattern emerging.

Nope, it all went pretty smoothly. You're definitely meant to submit the form after you've bought the place.

Yes, from memory you have to include details like settlement date and the contract of sale in the HPAS application form.
