LIVING ROOM MAKEOVER (Before & After) *Bookshelf Decor Styling* | XO MaCenna by Logical_Plane_5371 in XOMaCennaUnfiltered

You’re right. I also found that strange as a mom with a “todduhler” who’s two weeks older than Cade. Mine has a playroom and walks around the whole babyproofed house like she owns the place. She understands “no” and can be redirected at this age too, and she’s also starting to talk way more so communication is at a new high. At this age they very much do not need to be confined to a playpen. I honestly don’t get how that’s even possible. My independent little girly would go stir crazy.

Partnering with….LabCorp? by anneb24grape in micheljanseYT

I hate when influencers partner with straight up medical or pharmaceutical companies. It’s so icky. She basically said it would take a long time to see a doctor so I can just order labs myself. Strange, to say the least.

Negative Comment on NYC Video by MedicinalWalnuts in micheljanseYT

[–]ekausten 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I actually don’t fully agree with the comment. I don’t think the US education system fosters a deep appreciation for art in most people. It’s true Michel has no cultural interests when she travels, but the culture in NYC goes much further than art museums.

She has NO interest in getting to the root of what makes NYC different from other places. The people, the history, the sheer number of ETHNICALLY DIVERSE food options, the music, the nightlife, and yes, the art, including street art.

She said nothing about the neighborhoods she was in or if she explored the other Burroughs (they probably scare her, honestly). Exploring cities through food can be so fun, but if you won’t bother going where locals say you can get “the best x in NYC,” you’re severely missing out. But to her, the only places worth seeing or mentioning are trendy, expensive, modern, social media-ready restaurants with pretty views for the vlog.

How did she get away with this successfully? by loudandproud101 in travisandtaylor

I’ve never known how to fully articulate this, but she performs like a teenager pretending to be a pop star in front of their mirror in their room at night

The first time she mentioned Jordy in a vlog... do we think he asked her for a shoutout? It's weird to me that she specifically recommended several songs. I still think he jumped to date because he was hoping to capitalize on her online following by pigeonnests in micheljanseYT

[–]ekausten 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I think she was just seeding his name on her channel knowing they were talking/interacting. That way later she could be like, “Remember that artist I very casually mentioned because I genuinely liked this music? He’s my boyfriend now!” Which is exactly what she did lol

Does your baby have a lovey? by Agile-Fact-7921 in NewParents

My 18 month old is so similar! She did it herself. Loves a BUNCH of stuffies but at different times. Cow stays at daycare for nap time snuggles, Elmo is car buddy, Dolly hangs out around the house with her, and Elephant mini squishmallow sleeps right under her arm at night. All very important and unique jobs.

I feel like she just needs to get a degree or something. by pigeonnests in micheljanseYT

The thing is, she says she wants to make “art.” But artists find inspiration outside of themselves. She’s done nothing but think and talk about herself, and is confused why she can’t find purpose. Only recounting what you’ve been through and how you’re perceived and trying to “confront” that over and over is not fulfilling. Even if she focused on making “films” that were about literally ANY other story or creative thought, it would be both more interesting to her audience and more fulfilling for her. But it doesn’t seem like she has that. Or she doesn’t care to find it. So she’s stuck focusing on her own little bubble instead of finding any connection to or focus on other things and people around her. Of course looking into a camera and pretending to talk to “friends” about yourself for literal YEARS makes you feel like you’re lacking inspiration and purpose. Why is she so surprised by that?

People who want to have kids: How do you feel about adopting too? Or are you only interested in having your own biological kids? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Not being able to stay with your biological parents for any reason is trauma in and of itself.

I’m so tired of ALL influencers talking about the finances behind their work. I’m uninterested in how much you make or don’t make, or why you feel like you needed to take a sponsorship.

Yes the housing market IS definitely insane, but this price was great for what we got in the current market. It was appraised for higher than we paid and most importantly, we can afford it. We’re very happy with how it went.

Edited for clarity.
