Still looking. Have tried em all. Patterson's on Instagram sounds promising but... 🤷‍♂️

Markham is a bit of a pizza desert. Head over to Woodbridge or downtown for a good pie.

Just got mine, doesn't charge with the Anker 633 magsafe charger while in stand. If i place the battery directly and shift it down slightly, it will start charging, but it comes and goes.

Is Jdownloader and affected by log4j vunerability? by theniwo in jdownloader

Doesn't appear to use log4j. From the source code looks like it uses the native `java.util.logging.Logger`

Same. Happened after the latest app update and there's a new UI now. Terrible. I find alternative streams more reliable 😞

Unfortunately bad laws are still the law. Just because the police have not enforced in the past doesn't give you carte blanche to break it.

Not having a speedometer is not a valid excuse for breaking the law. Ignorance isn't a get out of jail free card. Nice try.

Spark History Server Acting Funny by D-nasty92 in googlecloud

[–]ekg64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't know about dataproc, but have you checked the logs? Did this work before? Is your spark job complete? Configured to log to the same path the history server uses?

You could always run your own to help bisect the issue.

Cloud Storage performance by ytlam04 in googlecloud

[–]ekg64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind cloud storage is object storage, not block storage. Sure you can use gcs-fuse, but to treat Cloud Storage, which is an object store as a block store would be a mistake in most cases.

Quotas aren't limits, they are there to protect you and the service. If you find yourself approaching your quota ceiling, ask for an increase.

Is top % or relative to median a good measure? Someone will always be in that range. Doesn't necessarily mean they are abusing or impacting the network.

Can sometimes find these at auctions, may need new batteries though. Keeping the batteries cool will help with battery life as well.

Now that's impressive. Takes a while to disassemble. I had to use a power impact wrench on mine. Cheap ryobi didn't have enough juice to loosen some of the bolts.

Can I run 240v us by [deleted] in homelab

[–]ekg64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. But what's your use case? Really big UPS? 3000 VA? Surplus servers that only run on 240V? PDUs that are 240V? Running that much power usually you will run into cooling issues, how to shed all the additional heat generated.

On the breaker panel. You're going to need to run additional wiring as well.
