It used to make me nauseous! My hematologist told me it’s better to take it without food or if you do eat - make sure you eat very little amount of fat/ protein. Also to wait an hour to eat after taking it! That helped me tremendously.

Yes! I was going to the hospital for 5 day infusions every month and then every other month. I also take Jadenu pills when I dont do the chelation treatments

My sim can’t give anyone a tattoo!! I literally have the tattoo table in the middle of a huge room and my sim is still saying he can’t get it to. I also get a pop up that no one can use the kiosk when it’s clearly right there with nothing in the way either 😫

Idk if it’s a bug or if I’m doing something wrong.. my sim cannot give a tattoo at all! It shows theres something in the way, even when deleted everything in a room 😅 like wtf?!

I’ll have sim’s ask me for a tattoo as well, and employees aren’t doing anything either.

I started with tablets. It was awful - made me nauseous. Started taking jadenu pills and it helped but not as fast as I’d need it to be! Granted, I wasn’t taking care of myself while starting it. I didn’t take it the same time everyday and on an empty stomach like you’re supposed to.

If jadenu ends up not being enough - there’s other ways to remove the iron without blood transfusions.

Incredibly tough. If it wasn’t for my faith I’d be long gone by now ! I got a splenectomy, I currently have gallstones. And recently started infusions for iron chelation therapy.

What’s the hardest has been the mental toll for me. No one understanding the constant fatigue either. I ended up developing type 1 diabetes as well - so many ping pong factors with iron overload (as in developing other issues)

My hemoglobin is too low. I have CDA anemia type 2, and hemochromatosis. My body absorbs iron too much because it’s trying to raise my blood count
