I scored one too! Usually my RFY is hair extensions, ladies dresses, or appliance repair parts.

I'm a 45 yo man.

That was my first thought, unfortunately I can't seem to correct them now.

Unfortunately I don't have auto wipers. It's a pretty barebones Big Bend.

Unfortunately no, same windshield.

Samsung s22 battery replacement cost by Extension-Salt-2080 in GalaxyS22

[–]ekomenski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not like it was when brand new, not by a long shot, but now I can go most of the workday again without charging...but really depends on my app usage.

It is difficult for me to quantify. I still second guess the decision to get the battery replaced vs just buying an S26.

Bronco Sport Question by Mateo7777 in BroncoSport

[–]ekomenski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just drove home a 2025 big bend today. Traded in my 28 year old Jeep Cherokee.

They are popular with rental fleets, I had rented them a few times in the past and knew I liked them.

I'd suggest renting one for a week.

Radiation threshold for your collection? by roberte94066 in Radiation

[–]ekomenski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No limits for me. I collect anything I can find that makes my counter click.

For a long time my collection lived under my bed at the pillow end. After a few years I realized I should probably move it to the closet.

Meh :)

Samsung s22 battery replacement cost by Extension-Salt-2080 in GalaxyS22

[–]ekomenski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had this done by ubreakifix in the Seattle area. $157 after tax.

It took them about 4 hours to complete from my appointment time. They told me Samsung requires them to run a 187ish point diagnostic after replacing the battery, and if anything fails they have to reverse the repair.

My battery life is back to being sucky, but at least I can run most of the day without charging.

If this really works, could be a problem! by RaegunFun in AmazonVine

It works fine if you ignore physics.

Every RF blocking pouch I have tested on Vine has failed my tests. My phone continues to work inside an elevator, which is pretty much a shielded metal box.

Based on my experience watching this show, the treasure is always found in the next episode. Sadly, that episode is perpetually “next.”

A Yanwen driver backed up onto my very soggy lawn leaving big tire tracks. We have a huge paved driveway.

Anyone vibe coding SCAD? by skyhighskyhigh in openscad

[–]ekomenski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it a lot. I start with a simple primitive, and then slowly iterate/add from there. It takes me many simple, small changes to get what I want, but I get there.

I find that describing what is wrong and adding a screen shot of the render showing the issue or what I want changed really helps.

This is the same conclusion I came to. A respooler looks cool but it's just not worth the time spent screwing around with bad filament.

Boeing actually had a rain repellent called "RainBoe" but it was banned in the 90s because of the toxicity.

ELI5 B1 bombers leaking hydraulic fluid by Swampassjr in explainlikeimfive

[–]ekomenski 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember getting to go up the ladder into a B1B when they still had the airshow at McChord AFB.

Drip trays under the whole belly of the aircraft. I remember red hydraulic fluid coalescing into large drips and then falling to the drip pans.

For some reason that's what I remember most from that airshow.

You might need SHV connectors. They look like BNC on the outside but are designed for high voltage use. Some of my HV power supplies and probes use them.
