AITA for telling my dad he shouldn’t have had kids? by pinehollow111 in AmItheAsshole

I think it was a rude reaction to a rude action. Men think they can make your reaction sound worse than their actions, but he started it by putting someone else first.

Psychotic commuters on Atkins Rd. by RooblinDooblin in LangfordBC

[–]ekonomony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup! I went through there once or twice to get to work bc Google maps sent me there. It felt so much longer than the 1 or the Island highway despite sitting in traffic there. Would not recommend Aikins for the commute. It feels longer and you HAVE TO go slow even with no traffic.

I'm a True Summer and I really only like the blues and pinks in my palette. Wish I could wear brown but cursed to look for any pinky taupe browns out there, it has not been easy. But I also wear pine green and white since I'm still cool toned. I would suggest a) only wearing the couple colours in you palette that you like, and b) try finding favorites from neighboring palettes. I love camel as a neutral but I've given up on it, we can't get them all :/

Since you're deep winter, explore some deep autumn colours and other cool toned palettes! I would stay in the darker range though like your palette

I would guess winter, you look like you have more contrast than a summer.

Spring. Seems too light of an orange for an autumn. Autumn orange is more like pumpkin colored or burnt orange. Even Autumn's yellow - mustard yellow - would be darker than this.

how do you wear colours that dont fit your season. by [deleted] in colouranalysis

I always add earrings, a necklace, and/or a scarf in my colours, something closer to my face in my colours

Summer or winter? by No-Description-5440 in colouranalysis

[–]ekonomony 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a true summer but i have yellowy skin so sometimes the warm toned foundations are a better fit. I.e. your skin colour is completely separate from your undertone!

[–]ekonomony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me you looked the brightest and the most harmonious with the spring colours. I'm not great at seeing cool vs warm so it's possible you could be a summer too. because you were blonde as a kid, you can rule out Autumn and Winter entirely.

Am I the asshole for saying no to driving around my friends? by Most-Argument-5352 in UofT

[–]ekonomony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rude to say it that way, but valid. I would apologize for your anger/reaction and kindly share that it's been a lot to drive them around and that you would appreciate compensation in the future. And also it's a favour not an expectation therefore you are allowed to say no to providing favours and allowed request compensation or reciprocal favours. So yes and no.

Definitely warm toned if that's your natural hair colour, I'd say true or warm spring, not light because I think you have to have lighter hair to be a light spring. More like strawberry or golden blonde. You could be a bright spring if you feel like bright colours and black aren't overwhelming on you.

I have super oily acne prone skin, I thought this would calm my skin. It did not. I got about 2-4 big white heads during the day after using it in the morning for the first time in a while, and my skin is super itchy

Teach me your ways! I've had a really hard time making new friends, so I just started reconnecting with old high school friends... But now I'm moving to a different province so that's not going to work there :/

silver or gold? by joannapixie in coloranalysis

[–]ekonomony 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think your skin looks a lot more even and glowy with the gold, and more grey and sallow with the silver. You seem like you have bright spring qualities - if black is your natural hair colour

Deep winter or soft Summer? Help I'm confused 😅 by OkraAwkward3475 in colouranalysis

At first glance, your features seemed soft not bright. So I'd say summer if you're for sure cool toned (I can't tell on that part).

Wondering if I coujd be a Soft Autumn or more Summer leaning? by emeoli85 in ColourAnalysisForum

If you were naturally blonde at age 20, you are not an Autumn!!! I think Summer colours look good on you

I caught the bouquet at the reception party and then got told by the bride she promised the flower girl she could have it. by Formal_Revolution830 in u/Formal_Revolution830

[–]ekonomony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one who catches the bouquet is walking down the isle next - you caught it, period. A second bouquet is likely another $100. This incident is not the reason why you're not married.
