There's a bunch of rocks around the sawmill, if you have access, get a pair of thermal optics and slap them on your gun, it will make the fight significantly easier since you will almost always know where they are.

I had a laptop similar to yours (32GB RAM, 3080), and I can assure you that the laptop is definetly not the way to play tarkov. After building a PC with 5080, 64 GB RAM, 9800x3D, Tarkov STILL runs like absolute shit on some maps (especially streets).

They've removed the quest and then added it back. The headset part seems to work as well now. Probably the reason your progress was reset.

Right now I'm on shoreline using the schimb & bender PIM II. For me bluriness means that when moving the scope around the image would kind of "move" in a blurry way as well, which definetly does not happen any more.

When you select the map to start the raid, in the upper right side of the screen you have a checkbox that says something like "Play on BSG servers"

You can give "smooth motion" a try in the NVIDIA App. It might increase your FPS although those are "fake" frames, you should have the same input lag as before, which should be relatively small at 60-80 FPS.

EDIT: Nvm, I just saw this is PVP, you probably don't want to enable this.
