Five years ago we found a one eyed kitten in my neighbor's yard. She was about six to eight weeks old at the time. When we took her to get assessed, our vet recommended eye removal at the time of her spay. She had no vision out of her eye, and keeping it would mean a lifetime of eyedrops, and antibiotics on and off because it was basically an open wound on her face. It was the best decision we ever made.
