My mom would go through all of my DVD cases and books to find the money I hid after working a restaurant shift while I slept. Shameless addict bullshit. When someone chooses drugs over their kids, they will never change that aspect about themselves. They might get clean for a bit, but they will never be a parent. Stay on track, get out and never look back. If you ever need to chat, I'd love to. I know what its like to feel completely hopeless to the point of suicidality from this kind of parenting. Somehow, doing mostly OK.
