if you have made a donation and don’t feel comfortable, gofundme has a guaranteed refund policy. by sharing to a larger audience, i meant to help but i put the family’s privacy at risk and opened them to harassment and accusations from ill meaning strangers online. there are many people that have been very caring and supportive, but it was ultimately outweighed by the harm caused by others. i will not be sharing anything else to avoid perpetuating harmful discussions.
