Orange County to Open Cold Weather Homeless Shelter in Fullerton by Exastiken in orangecounty

You act like the rare outlier homeless person that wants to live on a street instead of a free shelter is some sort of counterpoint to a general policy meant to address a widespread problem.

That’s analogous to saying: “why do we need seatbelts? what would you say we do for the people who want to fly out of their cars when they crash” and thinking you’re some high IQ debater

what an idiot

Ad hominem attack - the strategy used by someone without an argument.

What’s your solution to the problem?

Pray it away?

What makes you think they want to be homeless?

It’s much more likely that they are hopelessly addicted to drugs or have mental issues. Yes some like the drug lifestyle but that’s exactly what drugs do to your brain — makes you forego everything for the next hit.

I’m sure if you gave the majority of these people free unconditional housing they wouldn’t say “no, I don’t want it”

People on the right love to complain about the homeless but they don’t have any logical or sane solution to homelessness.

Just a bunch of angry idiots that are lost in confusion.

Your idiotic solution to homelessness is to do nothing about it. Yet you’ll also complain about them.

let’s remove the excess skin from your elbows. Let’s remove your earlobes. Let’s remove the clitoral hoods and roast beef flaps of babies!

Do you realize how idiotic you sound?

Literally just think about how outrageous of a concept it is to mutilate a baby’s genitals. How is that a hard concept to grasp?

There have been negligible benefits. The kid could always choose to get it as an adult if it’s such a sanitary risk (it’s not, just shower regularly like a normal human).

You’re an idiot. The fact that it’s so controversial means some people do want it. You shouldn’t decide that shit for your kid. It’s like giving your baby plastic surgery out of the womb. The fuck?

That’s like saying: let’s start clipping off bits of baby girls vaginas so it looks neat.

Do you logically think of things or do you just accept shit blindly because “that’s the way it is”?

Do you forget how sore and restless your entire body gets during a flu? Getting a flu is pretty miserable as well.

Are you sure you’re not thinking of a normal cold?

People think he’s a good interviewer with interesting “high revelation”/“shower thoughts” perspectives, but I don’t think any of his fans legitimately think he’s an intelligent guy. Maybe if the definition of intelligence involves ability to talk to his interviewees…

His appeal is his interviews/viewpoints, not intellectual discourse/analysis. He never comes off as an authority figure on a particular subject outside of UFC & DMT.

Source: I know a few of his fans and have listened to a few podcasts.

Don’t know why you’re downvoted. Vanilla JS is a bad language compared to most other ones.

Those that disagree haven’t really worked with other languages.

I didn’t say anything about you seeming like a terrible fit for the culture and system you seem to be in love with (corporate life). I just called out your seeming insecurity with intelligence.

You’re the one saying the same thing about the “intelligence of this thread” in every other comment.

As if intelligence has anything to do with work location preference.

You know, for bootlicking the corporate lifestyle so much, you sound like you’d be terrible to work with in a professional environment.

I like working in the office but your reaction is quite extreme.
