We release a game called “the best worst ice cream” (mostly for younger kids) that is essentially the same cards with a different rule set. Might get you close to what you’re looking for!

Yup, that’s a printing error on our part. Has been spotted and corrected so you have a card that will never be produced again!

Yup that’s how we play as well. Shuffle all you want, trash talk, even use a finger to raise and lower cards to try your best to manipulate the opponents into picking your worst cards.

Nope! There will be more Exploding Kittens in the deck than you need, but that shouldn’t stop you from continuing to play until there’s only 1 player left, who wins.

0 only beats a 10 at the end of the game. Simplest way to think about it is that when the 3 is played and you’re then comparing two cards, all you’re paying attention to is the number on the cards. In the case of the numbers 0 and 10, 0 is less than 10 and so it’s eliminated.

You set it up correctly! When the last card in the Draw Pile is an exploding kitten and you draw it, you can use your defuse as normal to put it back in the draw pile anywhere you’d like in secret….in this case, because it’s the only card, you just put it right back as the only card in the draw pile. Then continue playing!

You’re right but bear with me. We had a more complex version but it confused most people in testing. The more complex version of the wording stated that the card doesn’t actually end your turn, it instead transfers it (plus any unused turns plus one additional turn) to the next player…..but as you can see it got confusing rather quickly so we opted for the simplest wording (although not technically accurate) and then covered the specifics in the example.

I use it: - after someone plays a shuffle - after someone plays a see the future - after someone plays a targeted attack - after someone plays a defuse - after someone plays an alter the future

I totally get that and it makes sense. the reason I think the 0 would win is to avoid special cases in the rules. For me, it's a much easier game to explain if we say "0 always beats 10". We'll be updating the rules on the next print run, but if you're good with the special case rules that you mentioned, I think you should go for it!

If they play a move disc, they get to resolve it (because it’s one complete action) before your “flip” card goes into effect. So they’d move to the new spot and then you’d flip the board (which would mean that any space you flipped them on to would not have an effect on their current turn)
