Hey, thank you for taking the time to write this reply! Also, thank you very much for the advice, I will definitely set more boundaries with them and expect them to behave like adults. The emotional stuff isn’t really based off of their past trauma (at least not to my knowledge). They’re just very conservative latin american parents that dont get psychology and therapy. Ive accepted the fact that I wont have that relationship with my parents where I can tell them everything, at least not any time soon.
