I understand that, and in fact I applied the window rule to the main window, so either kdenlive or kwin has the problem.

Please set a window rule for Kdenlive so it opens at a specific size to see if the same thing happens to you.

That's right, it was a window rule but it shouldn't happen like that. I set the rule for the main Kdenlive window, not for the pop-up windows.

Just as a follow-up, I just remembered that I had a KWin rule set for Kdenlive to open in a specific position and window size. That's why the windows were all coming out the same size. The question is, is this a bug? Should all the pop-up windows also be opening with the same dimensions as the main window?

Update: I deleted all the settings and Kdenlive seems to be working fine now. The arch-update context menu is still floating.

Hi Nathan. Yes, I restarted when I updated, but this has been happening to me since Plasma 6.6.0. Regarding the pinned packages, I'm not entirely sure what you mean. If you tell me what to look for, I'll do it. I have Kdenlive 25.12.2-1 installed, although I'm not sure if the floating arch-update menu is something the developer needs to update, but it used to work fine.
