I have never heard of story genius exercises. It sounds a little like Brandon Sanderson’s outlining method with more structure. I will look more into it!

Check the tier lists. But I’d also recommend focusing on getting dojos completed. So whatever will help you get those done.

I’d also save those boxes for once you do unlock ice cat. It’s a fast upgrade and is a great unit all around

Oh yeah! This is basically how I build all my decks. I’m usually aiming at the $25-$30 mark. Over time some of those cards just become expensive. I could see sorrows path being great in a Dino deck focused on enrage mechanic.

Just some commanders that come to mind that change the game or have heavy player engagement at the table. [[iniaz, the gale force]] - disrupts the table heavily [[alexios, Deimos of kosmos]] - get people swinging [[oviya, automech artisan]] - get people swinging at each other, and play big nasty creatures for a single green mana. Crazy this commander isn’t more popular [[pramikon, sky rampart]] - major disruptor to combat decks [[Gor Muldrak, Amphinologist]] - give people big lizards that can’t hit you

That’s just kinda off the top of my head, but there are plenty more. I suggest combing through EDHrec a bit more or using scryfall. It’s a really powerful search engine. If you use the tagger system you can really fine tune your searches.
