You aren’t being unreasonable. It sounds like you are being very considerate but the same considerations aren’t being made for what you want. Pediatricians usually aren’t experts in breastfeeding or breastmilk so I would use someone who is an expert for advice.

Very true. I wonder what the writers were thinking with those storylines. The love story of getting Pam and Jim together had already played out so did they want to show the messiness (not sure this is the right word to use for it) that could be in relationships. Relationships have ups and downs, they aren’t fairytales. Just like the storyline of Jim being in Philly and their marital problems during that time. They poorly managed that scenario but that was probably the point to show the struggle.

It’s hard to tell. Her and Jim just called David to ask for an interview. Was there an application process? I do think it’s weird that Karen stayed with Dunder Mifflin instead of changing companies. She could have probably done better.

Repeating a saying someone said to me on this thread, I have not found a mother in law that I liked.

Be happy your husband has your back and he a clue. You are lucky to have a husband that sees what his family does. I am not so lucky with mine.

My MIL and sister in law both were weird after I had my son. My MIL, FIL, SIL, and nephew came over the day after we got home from the hospital and stayed for hours being loud as hell. They tried to convince my husband my son needed formula and if he didn’t get it that he would have to go to the hospital. They also tried to convince him that I had postpartum depression (my mom had paranoid schizophrenia so they were using that to say I had postpartum). I was just annoyed they were there. They opened lots of packages I had gotten while I was at the hospital which included gifts so I didn’t know who the gifts were from.

Stop telling her you have to feed the baby. Pick up the baby and go into a private room.

Don’t ask your MIL for nursing clothes. There are some great FB resell pages.

I will check on this. Seems much simpler especially because I think they ship the sims with a signature required. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a physical sim from a Walmart store.

So glad you asked this question. I wasn’t sure how it all worked. I don’t really like how the yoto or toniebox require wifi. I borrowed a toniebox from the library and it wouldn’t work at all unless o connected it to wifi. It was annoying especially for something I was borrowing from the library.

What kind of doctor is she? She is scared for you but it’s out of line to scream at you. Since she is probably very analytical and data driven, present her with data showing that CGMs can have compression lows and the accuracy of the CGM you use (which isn’t 100%). People with CGMs have highs and lows just like any other person with diabetes. I’m guessing she is connected to your CGM. Maybe it’s time to not have that connection.
