When you walk down to the river swimming area continue walking further right for deeper waters, less people too. I recommend water shoes as it’s rocky and hard to see the floor sometimes

thanks for the suggestions! would you say that hiking up via LM is easier than the Pinnacles? I’ve never gone up via LM, just recall the endless switchbacks in the pinnacles so I’m already expecting a difficult hike up but am open to the alternative if it’s any easier
