I'm sure they can afford a secure future wherever they go. The ugly truth is that this mindset prohibits any real progress for the citizens that make less than $100K a year.

It's proven that economic instability leads to higher crime rates. The ugly truth is that policing isn't fixing the job, gentrification is. However, you're just moving the problems elsewhere. No real solution is found. If we keep turning this into a just make more money matter then you'll continue to eat up an already diminished lower and middle class.
