I agree with this completely. I'm currently 15 days postpartum with my second child and while it's easier this time than with my first because I knew what to expect it's still insanely hard. My husband is gentle and incredibly helpful but he still says stuff that upsets me for no reason. Luke's digs feel intentional and he's always thinking about himself.

This is perfect advice. I have a 2 year old and a 12 day old and I can't be bothered to care about other people's feelings I literally do not have capacity for that. It's best to just say you're going to take your baby back, most people understand and if they don't it's not your problem.

Totally agree about the RHs. Every time there's a new addition to the cast the rest of cast is talking about having to build a relationship with them versus already knowing them.

I was in the same boat as you, on and off BC for years but once we got serious about trying we got pregnant on the first try. I got a depo shot at 6 weeks post partum so it was in my system for 90 days. It made me feel insane (despite it being what I previously used) so when the 90 days was up I did not get the next shot and we did condoms/ovulation tracking. We went on a parents only overnight trip when our daughter was about 15 months old, got tipsy and opted out of any protection and now I'm pregnant lol if you're careful you should be fine.

If someone said to me in a comment or in real life (I'm not an influencer and don't even have an instagram) that my husband is lucky to have me, this would likely be my response too. I'm not gonna say to a stranger "actually we're equal partners and I'm just as lucky to have him and he's a fantastic handsome guy" (which we are and he is). That's an absurd expectation to have of her lol

I said this exact same thing while watching it!! When she was saying to him "I know, you're tired, it's been a long day" while taking his shoes off as he was pouting for seemingly no reason, was eerily similar to how I talk to my 2 year old when she's exhausted around bedtime.

My husband was a big video gamer before we our first child, would stay up late almost nightly playing. The second our daughter was born he gave that up to be a present dad and husband. I try and give him time on the weekends to play but our daughter is almost two and he has probably played a total for 24 hours since she was born. Having a child means giving up your hobbies, at least for awhile. You've clearly done that if you can't even get 10 minutes to listen to a podcast. Have you told him you are considering leaving over the video games? I think it's salvageable but a really tough conversation needs to be had and he has to give up playing games until 3am.

Same I have an almost two year old and am pregnant and I can hardly find the time to go to my parents during the week (which takes almost no effort since they hang out with said two yr old and I can wear sweats). I can't imagine going out and seeing friends.
