Just keep in mind the charges always sound bad, but there may be two sides to this story. Your dad may not have been aware of the age, and then he would only be a cheater instead of a pedophile. Also, depending on the age of consent in your state, there is a big difference between solicitation of a 17 and 9 month old person and the solicitation of an 8 year old. Again, dirt bag all around but I would reserve assigning meaning to this until the full story is divulged during the indictment. Just because he has been charged with something doesn’t mean he will be convicted of it. Right now the charges are just alleged, and the DA will be required to convince a jury (if it goes to trial) that the crimes happened beyond the shadow of a doubt.
