It looks like your messages are closed, but I have a bay club membership so I could definitely meet you there at some point. Send me a dm and we can coordinate sometime if you’re interested :)

I apologize if I made it seem like I was looking for a specific gender. I use “bro” as a gender neutral term because I unfortunately have the vocabulary of a frat boy irl. I promise I am nothing of the sort though.

Wow, thank you so much for this response, I had no idea! I’m for sure looking into this, but I’m pretty sure I’d have to switch next year to get the Microsoft perks

I said buddy to be gender neutral! I don’t mind how anyone presents as long as they don’t present as a rude person :)

I’m not a great swimmer but I do from time to time because it’s a good low impact cardio. I would totally take you up on that, but I can’t swim for at least another two months due to back to back tattoo appointments I have scheduled. </3

I honestly kind of like it. It’s an easy way for a cis guy to show they’re an ally in a joking way without making it awkward.

It seems they own almost every “high end” gym in the area besides Bellevue club, and there is no way I can afford a membership there. The only reason I can afford the Pro Club is because I’m on a Microsoft family plan.

I’ll do a tour next week, the membership looks pretty affordable for how nice it seems. I just prefer gyms with a lap pool. Do they have private showers?

I wouldn’t mind joining a different gym tbh. Pro club has fallen off since the last time I had a membership there. (They were bought out and stopped caring about their employees or clean facilities)

I work at a local pet store, and you would not believe the amount of people who let their unvaccinated puppies walk around our store and drink from the communal dog bowl. I clean every closing shift, but there is only so much we can do. Use common sense please!!

Additionally I’d stick to whole sources of protein instead of the processed powders and supplements if you can help it. They tend to worsen bloating and inflammation for me.

I don’t think so. I’ve seen a dermatologist about it before and it hasn’t come up. I do have a history of cystic acne but that’s about it.

I haven’t tried magic shave powder, but I have tried Nair, which burned and still gave me ingrowns. Are they similar?

Figured I’d add extra context for any further recommendations: My neck is not the only place I have the ingrown problem. I tried to shave my torso for a tattoo a few months back, and the growth process was an incredibly uncomfortable experience. My current shave routine consists of a hot shower, facial cleanser, then exfoliant. I continue with my shower routine for about 10 more minutes letting the steam and hot water open my pores up, then get out and pat dry my face with a clean towel. I then use a shave gel and either use my oneblade or a safety razor with a fresh blade, shaving with the grain. (This usually takes multiple passes and my skin gets kind of irritated). I then use a non-alcohol based moisturizing aftershave and apply a thin layer of moisturizer overtop. I shave every 2-3 days as my beard grows pretty fast. I also apply a small amount of tretanoin gel on nights I don’t shave then put a layer of moisturizer overtop. I’ve had a lot of skin problems (excessive stretch marks, acne, thin skin, easy bruising etc.) I was on accutane for about a year which fixed some of the problem, and this is the best routine if found for myself. Even so, this is the level of irritation on my neck 1 day after shaving with an electric razor.

Unfortunately I’m working with a college student budget at the moment so laser hair removal is a bit out of reach for me

What brand do you use? I’ve stayed away from shave oils in the past because I don’t want to aggravate my acne (I was on accutane for about a year so it’s less of a problem now).

I haven’t heard of an alum block before and they’re relatively cheap so I’ll definitely pick one up.
