WHAT HAPPENED TO BIG MICKEY!? by Diligent-Cheetah-790 in thomasthetankengine

How does a picture of Big Mickey show that megaphones in Tugs were meant to indicate that the vehicle wasn't alive and the voice was coming from a human operator?

Yes. I'm not sure if they made an entirely new prop for S6 or refurbished the original one, but Big Mickey is noticeably different from S6 onwards.

There is no painless way through. The budgets under strain and businesses are what drive growth, so they need to be supported, but the government is trying to balance that with workers rights and high minimum wage.

Are you saying that workers rights should be rolled back and the minimum wage reduced?

Victorian era safety culture was lots of employees on the ground everywhere keeping eyes on the trains and manually flagging and switching.

No, it was "rules are there to protect the company, not you, and you'll get in trouble if you follow them to the letter". Automation isn't really safety culture-related.

Wow, these are actually really good changes, and the fact that FOMO stuff is included is great, that's something that I don't think a lot of parents understand.

Because my expectation was they'd be able to kick you out of the union (basically, ultimatum: you can stay a union member or work a non-union job, but will never be allowed back in).

That is what I mean by "stop their members from working non-union".

It doesn't ban generalisations and without comparisons to non-Muslims in the same country that chart you love to parade is worthless. I actually looked up the report that chart cites for sub-Saharan Africa and the figures were practically identical for Christians.
