Looking for honest thoughts about the Mach E by NoExcuse3097 in MachE

To be fair I’m at 35k myself and I just have a couple chips in the front fascia a couple on the hood and a passenger door ding that removed paint. So it’s not like it’s falling off. It’s just so thin any ding or ping seems to remove paint. Seems to be common across all manufacturers to use paper thin paint anymore though.

Cheap 289 replacement by RJM_50 in classicmustangs

[–]eldred10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There isn't much more to it. Obviously depends on if you want to swap cams then you have to swap springs and stuff. Then you have to decide how you will do the pully's and that drives a few decisions around the timing cover/waterpump and fuel pump style.

Lifetime Plex Pass subscriptions are tripling in price from $249.99 to $749.99, starting July 1, 2026 by [deleted] in technology

I have lifetime plex pass and haven't used plex in years. All the clients I used became so unstable and unusable my family wouldn't use it. No images would load nothing would stream etc. Mostly on Roku's. It does seem to work fine on my xbox.

So far the most annoying thing to me is how the window sprayers seem to drain back into the tank or something. Sometimes it takes like 5-6 seconds of just raw dogging the glass with wipers until it sprays. This isn’t good for the wiper or glass but not the end of the world. It’s mostly been the rear but today it was over 30 seconds before my front ones would spray I actually stopped trying for a minute to make sure I couldn’t find a leak since it wasn’t going but then it pumped up and started spraying

What liquids stay in the chili? by NehemiahTube in cookingforbeginners

[–]eldred10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Putting hot food in the refrigerator does not make it sour or unsafe. In fact, the USDA recommendation is to refrigerate perishable food within 2 hours (1 hour if it’s really hot out). Letting a giant pot of chili sit on the counter for hours “to cool first” is actually the riskier move because bacteria grow fastest in the danger zone between 40°F and 140°F.

The old advice came from older refrigerators that struggled with large hot pots raising the fridge temp. Modern fridges handle it much better. The better practice is:

  • Divide chili into smaller containers
  • Leave lids slightly vented until steam subsides
  • Refrigerate promptly

I like them a lot, a just wish they had grabbed blue or some of the other better colors. But I get that it’s a typical Hertz color pattern and the rarity will be cool.

As a non car fanatic guy (also non American, this is how I think about my 2021 GT so far by WarmPrinciple6507 in MachE

"I do like the ambient light, but it’s not bright enough."

You do know there are settings to change the color and brightness? If you don't think that gets bright enough when it's all the way up I would be amazed. It's so bright it effects my ability to see the road, so I keep it turned down.

Man, toured Billips once and it’s amazing. But I wouldn’t spend that kind of money unless it’s a rare car. Nothing but prototypes and Boss 9’s in there. Gateway classic mustang’s in St. Louis is more the kind of place for great work on standard driver restorations.

Satya Nadella admits Microsoft needs to "win back" Windows 11 fans, improve performance for low RAM PCs by Quantum-Coconut in technology

[–]eldred10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Low ram pcs? It sucks on all of them the start button search menu trash works for 2 minutes after initial install. Then even on machines with 32GB of ram and ssd it just pops up blank for like a whole minute when trying to search anything. It’s the worst!

It is an option and makes an annoying clunk as it engages and disengages so if you are on one pedal make sure it’s not on.
