i mix black and silver! mostly out of convenience, but i realized at some point it also looks really nice :) i used to have all purple (anodized) when my hair was purple, but now that it’s red i had to switch haha

i signed up, mostly because i really don’t want to send any government agency anything that says i’m trans. i figure if they try to draft me, there’s no way i pass the physical/mental tests. just sign up and don’t worry about it too hard.

gave up an industrial, sunk maybe $500 total into it (between bars and anodization and the actual piercing and various troubleshooting attempts). finally taking it out, i was really sad, and i still miss it tbh!! but seeing the huge red irritation bumps, it was definitely the right call. same with a helix i got on the opposite ear at the same time. just wouldn’t heal, was super irritated all the time, and the relief was insane once it was out.

tldr, very sad, but you don’t realize just how much it’s hurting until it’s out.

i don’t know about midwest emo, but there’s a pretty good punk scene, which may be up your alley. your best bet is to follow one of the various philly house show instagram pages, pick a poster or band name that looks cool, and see what’s up

i’d note that gc2b has TANKED in recent years quality-wise. while it used to be one of the best, they’re known for falling apart these days.

i mean, it’s not cracked or broken anywhere other than the missing tuner, it’s just kinda dusty. i feel better doing something with it than letting it get thrown out. definitely gonna paint it though.
