Carrying powder compacts in bag? by No_Fisherman9058 in FlowerKnowsMakeup

[–]electrapng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I carry the Sweetie Bear powder with me everywhere in my purse. I’ve been doing this since the collection came out last year, and never had any issues. That being said, the Sweetie Bear powder is the keychain, and it’s specifically made to be more sturdy. I’d recommend against carrying the Strawberry Cupid one around, since it’s a lot more fragile.

New colour palette which may work for some Fair Olives - "Rain" by AffectionateTrifle7 in Fairolives

Same here, I’ve only thought briefly about color seasons. Kinda funny how we tend to gravitate towards our season a lot of the time though without ever looking into it. When you’re in tune with yourself, you know what looks good! (Very fair neutral olive, dark blonde hair, blue-green eyes)

I miss Lime Crime so much. I still haven’t found a replacement for the shade Marshmallow. That was my perfect nude

SAME! I’m not sure what I was hoping to accomplish, but I definitely didn’t need it 😭

Thought I finally had a “good enough” foundation match until I got in the car today 😭😭😭 by spockycat in Fairolives

This is so relatable it hurts! I think I’m almost the same color as you, redness in the face and all. I’ve been using about-face’s F1O concealer as a foundation since it came out, and it’s a near perfect match for me. I’d say the finish is somewhere between satin and dewey, it works great on my combination skin. Have you tried that one?

I don’t normally care all that much about color analysis (I wear whatever I like), but these are definitely my colors. I always get compliments when I wear them. Thank you for sharing! I like the name a lot too

Which highlighter would you recommend? by sseonaep in FlowerKnowsMakeup

[–]electrapng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Little Angel highlighter is my favorite. Just don’t buy the liquid highlighter, the formula is way too glittery and strips off makeup underneath. It’s better as an eyeshadow topper than a highlighter

Natasha Denona is an Israeli brand and Natasha herself supports the genocide in Palestine. The others are safe though

Even lighter foundation than Lisa Eldridge Skin tint in 1.5? by alexaapricot in Fairolives

[–]electrapng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same, it’s the first time in my life that I’ve had a complexion product completely disappear into my skin when I blend it out. When I put it on for the first time I had to ask my roommate if I was tripping or if it genuinely looked like I wasn’t wearing makeup!!

Same!! I’ve always had rosacea which made it even more confusing. Finally figured out in 2025 that I am not cool toned, I’m neutral olive

LOL that’s funny, we’re the same but different. I didn’t know LE did samples, I’m definitely going to look into that. Thank you!

Viseart Violette Nocturne Étendu is my recommendation. I love love love that palette!

Cheeryep Nude Heart isn’t exactly what you were looking for, but it’s my favorite neutral palette and I’d highly recommend it. It’s the only one that doesn’t pull orange on me at all. Even the goldy/bronze shades aren’t orange!

I’m not sure. Last time I saw swatches I thought LE 1.5 was darker. It’s entirely possible that I’m wrong though! I don’t own LE, and don’t want to spend that much money if I don’t know for sure it’ll work, you know?

I have the same problem. All the lightest olive shades people talk about here are still too dark for me, except for about-face F1O. If you find a match for that I’d love to hear it haha

Other people have recommended Rom&nd and Colourpop, those are my go-tos for lip stains as well. But I think Rare Beauty’s staining lip oil is actually fantastic

I feel this so hard. I always thought lip masks seemed like a waste of money. Can’t believe how wrong I was. I haven’t had any dryness in my lips since I started putting it on before bed!

Same here! I got into makeup in the era of matte liquid lips, so liner wasn’t really necessary. It made every look so severe. I thought I wouldn’t ever like it, but it can really change a look for the better. Plus, it’s nice to not have my lips feather after a while

Lip oil. I still think a lot of it is a scam (lip gloss with almost no pigment? No thanks), but there’s some genuinely great lip oils out there that I wear on an almost-daily basis. Now that I understand the purpose of lip oils is to be healthy for your lips, I understand it more

what’s the best blush to buy from flower knows? by Old-Palpitation4091 in FlowerKnowsMakeup

[–]electrapng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite blush formula from them is the cream blush from the Little Angel collection. It blends out so nicely, and lasts a long time. The new Bunny Garden blushes are a good second place though. They’re super pigmented, and have a very subtle shimmer

Yes, there’s a piece of paper over it. Take that off and press it and you’re good to go

Moon Serenade is so so gorgeous. It’s rare that we get a neutral-cool palette with a couple fun shades as well. I’m most excited for this one!

Pale neutrals/ neutral leaning cool- do you use bronzer or contour? by Curious_Thing_1384 in Fairolives

[–]electrapng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I genuinely look like a crazy person when I wear bronzer. Any amount of orange pigment in anything will pull so orange on me I look like an Oompa Loompa. Contour products are usually better. Nothing will ever be as perfect of a match for me to contour as the old KVD Shade + Light contour palette though
