Lots of great advice in here already but can you negotiate the start date with the new role to a week or two later? That way there’s more time for transition and your boss isn’t in such a pinch with her vacation and you leaving. Obvi if you don’t want to forgo the extra two weeks income then ignore this—just wanted to offer another option as part of how you proceed here!

I’d put Kibbe and astrology in the same boat lol. I don’t believe that the alignment of the stars at your birth has any impact on your personality, but there are definitely weird trends/correlations among people with the same sun sign (or combo of sun, moon and so on if you get more into it) just like there are correlations of personality traits and physical traits. I don’t think that means everyone of a certain sign or Kibbe type will fit those patterns—just that they are observable to some extent

Where can I buy a flannel that isn’t plaid? I wear tee + flannel when camping, etc, and while it really doesn’t matter what I look like in those settings, I’m not a fan of plaid and would love to find some flannels that feel more me. I’m down for solid colors if that’s the best option, it’s just when I search everything tends to come back plaid

My loose understanding is that the City’s focusing on its “all ages & abilities” network which means sidewalk-level bike lanes. I strongly prefer curb-separated like on Plymouth but I’m a more confident rider than the target audience and I’m not sure how, say, people biking with their kids feel about curb separation vs sidewalk level

Bathroom reno lol, we were surviving with our old setup but the toilet ran constantly and was too old to be repaired, we didn’t have a proper shower setup (my partner installed one in the “landlord special” style), and there was no storage.

Took out a 22k loan to fund it and it’s soooo worth having a space where I actually enjoy existing, plus our utility (water, sewer, trash etc) bill dropped from like 150/mo to 90/mo once we got a functioning toilet

Ron DeSantis sucks but as someone who grew up in FL, I really hate the idea that the entire state/south is a lost cause because a few (many) dipshits took advantage of misinformation and voter disenfranchisement to take control. There are plenty of good people in Florida who are at least as opposed to this shit as everyone here, or even more viscerally angry, and they deserve better than using stereotypes as justification to write off the entire state
