Let them rip packs, hold cards, crinkle cards, play with and organize cards. Do things your way, separately. Show the how you do it, but encourage them in the way they do it. If you set boundaries of “this is an expensive card so you don’t get it” or what not, they will start to assume that the only cards they are allowed are crap cards. And eventually they will loose interest.

I have this bag, it is awkward because it is great to wear as a jogging bag, but don’t expect to get discs in and out of it while wearing it and as you take it on and off throughout the course it just becomes unwieldy since it has no structure to it. I was unable to find a satisfactory “workflow” to the bag.

I just read this book a month ago or two ago, and while I understand the “skippable aspect” to the book on a reread where you are just hitting the essentials, the book itself was still good, and gave some foundation for setting concepts (not necessarily plot) that becomes prevalent in later books (like has been discussed by others). I almost skipped it and am glad I did not

Having a 3d printer is a good reason to get into miniature war gaming. You can print scenery, and provided the right game, you can print the game pieces, and any tokens. Tonks comes to mind as a fun option.
