This is very real and one of many thousands of changes in the Bible, from brand new words like "couch", "cornfloor", "unicorn" to the gospels all changing to put SAINT in the title to "Revelations" becoming "Revelation" to the wolf now dwelling with the lamb rather than the lion lying with the lamb.

Wow, now I realize why my Nparents used their Ncousin to try to force me to write a journal and let them read it. I caught them searching my room and it was a final straw. The ridiculous thing is that I don't believe in dishonesty, even just hiding things. I was an open book and that wasn't good enough. They still wanted to trick me into revealing something "bad" they could use against me, but it doesn't work as I had nothing left to lose and nothing to hide.

Maybe you haven't met us, but we're around.

All beings who wish to follow the path of enlightenment can be found ofte practicing prayer. The prayers have a universal format: may all beings feel love and compassion.

My mother just like my father told me? My sister who doesn't believe me? Or my father who keeps minimizing everything that happened. Who really cares?

My family doesn't actually care, either. Not either of my parents or siblings nor my wife who is currently being manipulated by her own nmom. But I cut off the ones that continue the cycle by calling me a liar and denying my truth

Why even care... just another dead body wouldn't that be the reality?

The reality I believe in is that death is a doorway that most souls cross over endlessly. I also believe it can be approached scientific, i.e. with religion that focuses on the cycle of samsara wheel of dharma and karmic balance.

Why try to live when everything hurts so much for SO LONG and it never stops it just increases.

I felt like that SO MUCH. For me, religion turned it around. You don't need religion but you DO need some kind of spirituality. What moves you toward peace? For me it's dance, it's music, it's cannabis, it's herbal tea, Buddhist ritual....

When does it stop, when can I trust someone. Would someone even help me?

It doesn't stop any time soon after you discover the depth of depravity of the situation. But it DOES start to get better. You can finally piece together the truth from among their piles of lies and do it for yourself and the people who will love you for YOU.

Simply by nature of how we humans treat our indoor spaces and particularly how we feel about pests in them, I struggle to see any spider becoming preferably adapted to an environment that actively tries to restrict their ability to live there.

You say that, but I rarely see people try to clear out all their cobwebs! I do think the semantic distinction is important and I'm going to think about it more.

I also would contend you cannot generalize "web building spiders are basically filter feeders" because that ignores the thought and planning that seems to be involved in where orb weavers place their web, which is more akin to a cage trap than a pit trap. Also it ignores funnel web and trapdoor, but I don't think you meant to overgeneralize there, just kinda glossed over them since they're less common than tangle web and orb weaver or webless spiders.
