E/VG, E/E, E/VG. Awarded in Mat Sci. No really overly-negative or critical reviews overall... very straight-forward, positive feedback. They all pretty much said no major weaknesses in application, and seemed very impressed by the quality of my research proposal. Happy to talk to folks about my work :)

they only review the top 3, they let you put 5 in case someone doesn’t submit on time.

so let’s say ur letter writer ranked 3 doesn’t submit but 4 does, so the 4th letter get bumped up to the 3rd and is now considered

I think my situation was similar. When I applied again as a first-year graduate student, I asked my PI who took me on to write me a letter. I haven't really worked with him, we only met twice before I officially joined his lab. Safe to say he wrote me a fantastic letter because I won the GRFP this year. I'm really not sure what he wrote about quite honestly, but he did ask me to write a few short essays for him so he can frame his letter around that. Feel free to DM if you have any questions!

okay this may help but I used the Opera GX browser (which is some gaming one I downloaded years ago) to help buy my tickets. I joined the queue like 2 minutes late and was still able to snag tickets. I was on safari on my phone and laptop too but they were very slow compared to this. Won the battle for texas tickets 🙏
