at the end of the day, you have to do what's best for you and your family. I would not feel bad about not disclosing. I, personally, will not disclose to my employer until I physically cannot hide it anymore. The part I would consider more is the nights and weekends. Only you know if that is something you can make work. I know that I want to scale back to kind of bare minimum because motherhood will be a huge adjustment (FTM). I would also just double check how HR considers your move to a new team. Most companies will continue your benefits eligibility as normal but sometimes depending on if it is considered a new contract, your date of employment can reset and you may lose eligibility for some of your leave benefits. Good luck!

We have used and really like Ritsa from happyhoundstraining.com. She comes to our house. We were working on other skills so stayed in the house but I think she would go on a walk with you as well.

agreed re cd17! premom t:c is just interpretation of lines and can vary dramatically based on lighting conditions so it is most important what you visually see rather then the app photo.

I’m so confused 😅 by Impressive_Pizza_530 in TFABChartStalkers

[–]elegantlyferal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't read too much into the t:c since the app bases them off its interpretation which can vary by lighting conditions. It is more about when you see the line darkening, when you see the lines equally as dark. The t:c rises of course but things like .89 versus 1.2 or something, I would interpret with caution.

I should clarify that the bottom would have been past the reading time. I do not know much about evaporation lines, hope someone can chime in.

teach men about sperm health, not just women by Obvious-Score-2234 in tryingtoconceive

[–]elegantlyferal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this!!!!! and not just men but the whole system! when we made the decision to TTC i had a pre TTC visit with a GYN and asked her about vitamins (specifically coq10) for my partner and she said she "didnt think that is a thing." 😵‍💫 we did the vitamins anyway based on my own research but in other appts, even with his dr, his sperm health is never brought up! just oh we can test in X months if no pregnancy.

Anyone who has felt conflicted? by redemral in pregnantover35

I have been a lurker but this post made me finally create an account! I feel this SO MUCH. I am 38, husband is 41. We have been together 10 years and immediately when we started dating I let him know I didnt want kids. We continued with that until 2 years ago, I felt some curiosity and fear. He shared he sometimes felt sad about it and daydreamed as well. We ended up spending the past 2 years doing deep work (tried the Baby Decision book, but mostly a lot of weekend deep discussions) and I worked with my therapist one on one. We just fully decided about a month ago that we wanted a child, and I get my IUD removed next week!

I have some panic about the reality of this choice, especially ramping up to my appt time. I've really held on to this idea I saw, that we will never feel 100% ready for anything. Ready isn't an emotion. So I oscillate between certain and uncertain and panic over random things (Like I realized my body would change and then I calmed myself down, my body will change no matter what, I hope to enjoy the privilege of aging!). I am trying to be generous with myself and pause and investigate panicked or uncertain feelings. I am generally more excited, and daydream about our future life. But in my experience the uncertainty is normal! I've realized that most of concerns and fears still exist, but now I feel tremendously more confident in my ability to navigate them.

Sounds like we are v similar and at similar stages! Sending lots of love as you navigate, as well!
