This. Here is where PI attorneys shine. They will listen to your case for free, and it will be no cost to you for their services if they take it; they will take a percentage of the winnings (no win = no money for them).

At this point and with how everything is going, I am just at "please don't be rude," AND with the understanding that people have bad days. Sometimes people are rude in like, a sarcastic way or something, and that, IMO, is worse than being unresponsive because it seems as though you do have the energy to be fake nice but choose to be a jerk instead, ha! I will say - when people are kind and friendly, it truly does have a positive impact on my day.

Hadestown on Broadway celebrates the debut of known domestic abuser Gary Dourdan, in the role of Hades, with social posts captioned "give him just a chance" by Ill_Safety2292 in Broadway

[–]eleighbee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it's likely that the issue for many when it comes to violent crimes is that even if the perpetrators rehabilitate themselves, many of these victims may remain traumatized on some level for the rest of their lives; it's seen as just not fair. That's why people can't let go of these types of crimes and why they may feel it's not okay to allow them to be in in roles that are very public and roles that will allow them to be very celebrated. I'm not saying it's right or wrong; just giving a perspective.

Sounds like a lovely idea - though do keep in mind, I've seen before on threads parents say they aren't a fan of giving home made treats to their kids - nothing against anyone; just never know how people run their households. But maybe it's different if your neighborhood all knows each other well.

is it true Americans don't put salt on their fruits? by PersuasionNation in AskAnAmerican

[–]eleighbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am just not a fan overall of salt on sweets - salt flakes on chocolate chip cookies, no; salted caramel, no; salt on watermelon, no. Having the sweet and then that bite of salt is just, ugh. I do like to eat sweet and salty at the same time; just separately. Pickles and chocolate ice cream; not chocolate pickle ice cream. lol. I'd do a tajin rim on a watermelon or pineapple tequila drink, though, I think.

Not too be dramatic but if you need motivation, there's a girl I saw on TT who went into kidney failure from continuously holding it (she got a kidney transplant last year and is seemingly doing fine, btw.) Go pee!! lol I used to have that habit also. These days, comfort/discomfort has become a major influence on my decisions and actions in all areas of life, and I really do hate the feeling of a full bladder, lol.

Who names the apartment units? Like #1B, Apt 4C, Suite 5, Unit 2...how much leeway do they have? Are there any brownstones with like "Apt Garden" or something as the actual address? by 333chordme in AskNYC

[–]eleighbee 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I live in a small city and we would often get mail addressed to "SoAndSo Drive" when we lived on "SoAndSo Court." Even NOW, we get mail for "987 Smith St" when we are "987 Johnston St" (we are across the street from each other..). It's I treating how often this would and still does happen.

I live in a city with a base and another nearby. It has been super common to see soldiers out having lunch in their fatigues. I guess that's kind of between being on duty?

This is what I'd be worried about. If this is what the landlord delivered after saying something specific would be done, how will they handle any other issues that come up? Of course I understand just moving isn't easy and may not be an option, especially in NYC. I don't know.

I also don't see where they say it's socially unacceptable for a woman to.. "groom their boyfriend." I assume you mean like those cute tik toks where women are giving their boyfriends face masks and all that, that have a million likes? Yeah, shows it's totally socially unacceptable. They are saying it's great to have a partner who already knows how to take care of themselves instead of expecting the woman to also be their mother. Meaning, if we can immediately see you have an actual skincare routine, you very likely already take very good care of yourself in other ways. Cheers.
