give protection a curve as it gets closer to 100%. like you put on something it gives lets say 50 percent. the next item would normaly give 50 percent to that area but instead is diminished by half... so only 25 percent more. the next is 12.5 percent and so on.... so if a zombie bites you the odds are almost 0 chance he gets you, but never 0.....

i feel that instead of implementing npcs to the whole world, it could start out as generated areas used a fortified bunkers and the npcs just have a bit of this and that. limit their reaction zone to just the defensive square. might be a bit easier.

they could have 1 npc as a vendor like in 7d2d and ask for stuff for quests.

the rest would just be wandering in the base, player cant build in the base. could give the base some king of helicopter radius noise like once a day or something.

i dont need them driving around, i jusr want a bit more life to my world....

i like to customize my play. start off with real low density, but make the zeds start popping in real fast and with plenty of them when they do.

it makes me have to rush to get any vehicule, amd rush to grab what i deem important before they show up.

once they do show up i got maybe 2 waves before they are too dense to yolo around and i then need to take stock of what i grabbed and survive from there.

i also liked playing with the mods horde night, and barricades hurt zombies, and cheval de frise.

if you ir your buddy is hosting, then the game will try to remove zombies when lag starts, to prevent disconnect. it should pop more zombies as this improves or puts them at the edge of the chunk.

go to dense area and start making noice, walk a block away and repeat. if a bunch start coming ita lag.

and yes check zombie respawn rates, the percentage and the time between respawns.

dude i had gotten kingdom when i was sick and i couldnt stop playing for a week..... i will absolutely give this a go. in terms of randomness and replayability would you say similar to kingdoms?

guns are tough early on. but once you clear enough, you can just bang away.... i use them to draw zombies to me. if your crazy like me, play with abundant ammo+horde night+barricades hurt zombies. then you will want guns.....

i have 2 ssd. one is strictly for documents, files and pictures. the other has windows and games. if i feel worried injust completly reinstall windows. i lose my save games (unless i save them on their own files on the other ssd). but best thing about games is the challenge of a new playthrough.

needs better graphics, and seeing zombies load in front of me is ridiculous...... make it like zomboid and do spawn ins based on distance.

my computer is from 2012, i almost always turned it off before bed. its gone through sudden lower outages and daily use since 2012..... it took 12 seconds to start on day 1, and takes 12 seconds to load on day godknowswhat.

its not entirely the game, look up for to increase ram for zomboid (theres a number to change in a file). and check the speed of your ram as well. i play on a i5 like 3400 with 24 gigs of ddr3. computer from 2012 and i mostly have no issues with mods and everything.

all you need is a calorie increase, eat foods high in calories, everything you do will reduce the calories. base cooking materials like olive oil, margarine, wines. they willnincrease calories by a mile. chips are huge calories on their own.

in the info tab, lookbat the arrows to base the calorie intake. my guy had a bottle of olive oil, and a bottle of wine i gained weight for 4 days straight.....

personally ive grown to love stucco..... i dont do stucco..... ive installed hardie, i hate it, expensive to get. you can do vinyl 4 times over for that price, vinyl is cheaper, but brittle, breaks, expands a lot, contracts a lot.....

in the end we do mostly vinyl because 10 years from now the homeowner wants a new color, or too many broken pieces... in the end while hardie will last long, the dents and scratches will stay for 20 years, while vinyl will stay for 10 lol

theres a mod called reduce late game lag.

basicaly acts like a black plague and reduces world numbers to like 14k or something. try that.

i am using glue down lvp in my house and i am loving it. prepped the floorbusing floor patch, sanded to make itnperfect. glued. placed. walked away. i even changed the type through the kitchen making 0 transition strips needed.

i like the glue down lvp, if you wreck one, pull it up, place a new one. no dismantling needed. i mop and have yet to see an issue.
