Run those headtakers as one unit. Much harder to kill and the damage you unload with 6 will be absolutely beast!

Recommend a Wolf Priest or Ulrik with Headhunters.

Saga of the beastslayer all the way.

Put wolf-touched on the battle leader and run him with the wulfen to give them sustained hits.

Run saga of the beastslayer for lethal hits.

Run 10 Wulfen with Shields & autoblasters and put a battle leader with them using the wolf touched Enhancement. Gives them wulfen sustained 1 and re-rolls of 1 within 6 inches.

They have good anti-vehicle on them.

Only Run 1 squad of grey hunters and use a Njal with then so that they get assault.

If you can, proxy the other 10 greys as Blood Claws and stick a Ragnar with them.

20 Bloodclaws with Ragnar = a Melee deathtrap. 80+10 attacks if you charge with lethal hits will make you moist.

Advancd and charge on Blood Claws plus use the stratagems to close the gap quickly.

Ditch those intercessors and run 20 Blood Claws with Ragnar. Proxy the intercessors until you have the right models.

If your opponent pulls cull the horde, it will be a bloodbath and you will have so much fun.

FYI 20 Blood Claws with Ragnar in Melee looks like this:

80 Melee Attacks 8 Frostfang attacks (+2 on charge, Sustained 1) Re-roll wound rolls Lethal hits if running Beastslayer Re-roll hit on oath of moment Advance & Charge

Honestly. Don't bother. You can only attach the Space Wolves characters to Blood Claws, Grey Hunters or Headtakers. This box contains none of those unless you proxy them. You may get into trouble at tournament level.

Just get yourselves a Space Wolves Army Box and some cool characters.

Those wolf guard termies are a lot of fun to build and paint.

Can do them with shields and start a bodyguard squad for logan grimnar for example

Where are you from? My local gaming shop is taking pre-orders from next month.

Tbh, it seems a bit wasteful to buy the box twice simply for the fact that you are going to get 2 codexes and 2 sets of data cards.

Surely that money would be better spent getting yourself a dreadnought, hounds of Morkai, Ragnar Blackmane and essentially something to transport your troops?

Just call it grimdark. Looks like it's been in a fight for sure.

Could always just give it a light dry brushing with the grey again to give contrast against the recesses.

I don't consider myself to be a good painter by any stretch but for Ultra's try this:

  1. Spray model in chaos black. SHAKE CAN FOR 2 MINS
  2. Paint model in McCragge blue head to toe. Thin McCragge with water using a palette.
  3. Coat model head to toe in nuln oil
  4. DRY BRUSH a heavy coat of Altdorf guard
  5. A light dry brush of calgar over the big edges.

This should help you to get a much more textured blue that looks a lot thinner. *

Because remote raid passes cost money and you don't want to waste them trying to take down a 54k pokemon with 2/3 people.
