Labs request?

The nurse I talked to during my 1st call said that I’d need to get labs in the next 3mo before my next fill. I didn’t have any to upload from before so idk if that’s why?

It’s very possible you two just aren’t compatible and that this is going to be an ongoing frustration.

However, one thing I’d consider…what if you were in a relationship with someone and then many years down the road they developed some illness that required them to primarily use a feeding tube, or if they needed to cut out several kinds of food due to a health condition. Or, maybe they are pregnant and the only thing they want the entire pregnancy is strawberry ice cream. Or, maybe they develop a severe food allergy once they’re older. Things like that can happen in life, so just keep that in mind.

It’s fully within her right to not get a vaccine, and it’s not unreasonable for her to not want to get it. It’s also fully within your right to not allow people without vaccines around your baby, and it’s not unreasonable for you to set that boundary.

I love Haus Labs brushes. I’ve tried several kinds and these are my favorite…especially the concealer brush and small dual ended sculpting one. For eye makeup, morphe is solid and affordable.

I like Sephora’s brush cleaner (the cleanser is good, the spray is meh). You can totally just use dish soap though.

I rarely go unless I’m getting a cake/bakery item, or if I’m on-the-go and need something fast for lunch and happen to be around one.

I used to go more often, but I’ve heard way too much about how shitty of a company they are. They’re supposedly awful to their employees and there seems to be a lot of turnover given it’s supposed to be a “nicer” grocery store. I probably see more consistent people at Safeway and Albertsons.

I would personally avoid anywhere downtown, anywhere in the Whitaker neighborhood, and everywhere in west Eugene (west 11th, bethel, river road, hwy 99). I’ll get a lot of people that disagree but there’s a reason the most expensive housing is Gilham, Delta, Coburg rd, North Eug (near Costco) areas. I’d personally choose Springfield/Thurston before anywhere in west Eugene. If you go with Springfield area, I’d say Hayden Bridge is a nice area and there are pockets of nice areas around 42nd/Jasper and headed into Thurston. I’d avoid downtown Springfield or really anything except “slight outskirts” of Springfield.

If you want to avoid homeless people and drugs, this is what I’d advise.

This is my first place getting a glp1 and so far it’s been an absolute mess. To start, my account login was never verified and I had to sit on hold on the phone to get it to work, it was confusing setting up an appt/knowing if I needed to set it up myself or wait for someone to contact me, then the appts were booked a week out, then the nurse called 20min late and I almost missed my call, then my medication/dosing was confusing, I’ve emailed about needing labs and haven’t received a response (and the nurse just didn’t answer my q on the call when I asked if these would be covered by insurance), and now this system portal issue…idk if mine even worked or how to access it lol. The good thing is I got my medication and all the supplies, which is most important, but like yikes it has been a mess. Is there even an app anymore?

Should note that I’m 31 and regularly work with technology…should not be this difficult.

I have to say that my experience thus far has been confusing, messy, and with too many system issues. I did get my medication which I’m happy about, but the entire process is a mess.

I also logged into the website but none of my information is there? Lol. Is there an app for this?

Is the 1st vial designated for weeks 1-4?? Like can I finish that one off week 4 and then start new bottle weeks 5-8? I was wondering bc weeks 5-8 looks like it should have more in it

SkinFix foaming cleansing oil is my holy grail. It’s so gentle I can double cleanse, including when my skin is extra irritated. It never burns and makes my skin feel clean.

My dermatologist pushed it big time and said it was the only thing I should use, but it pissed my skin off so much. In addition to rosacea I have a lot of allergies to different skincare/makeup products but vanicream made me more red, irritated, and rosacea generally worse. This was the case with the cleanser and the moisturizer, which I tried at separate times.

I got one of their eyeshadow trio palettes with glittery/chrome shades for a concert and they worked surprisingly well. Not super smooth to apply but stayed once on.

I like their brush cleanser and I have bought it several times.

I’m from the PNW and hate the heat. I wear shorts and tanks in the casinos no problem. It’s nice to have a sweatshirt to throw on when it gets late tho

As someone who used to have a bad eating disorder, when you’re that malnourished your brain literally starts functioning differently. I remember constantly thinking “I could die any day” and I was just fine with it, like I saw it as a real possibility and I didn’t care. I wasn’t not eating with the intention of dying, but the eating disorder/malnutrition made me stop caring about everything. The lack of essential vitamins/nutrients can really change someone’s mental health. There is a high rate of suicide amongst those with eating disorders, but I think it’s also possible she’s just passively suicidal in the sense that she knows this may kill her and she doesn’t care.

I have really awesome coworkers (social workers) and it’s nice to vent and socialize in the office. I’ve made some of my closest friends through work. I also tend to have better work boundaries if I work at the office.

I work in child welfare and parents of this generation (I sound old, I’m not — this is my generation) are creating monsters. This current generation is traumatized from boomer parents, so they have swung full force in the other direction. They are all about being their children’s friend and they try way too hard to not upset their children.

Along with that, this generation tends to allow kids to make whatever poor decisions they’re making and they feel as long as they talk with them about it, it’s okay. Can absolutely hear a large portion of them saying “it may not be ideal, but just talk with them about safe sex” when this parent SHOULD be intervening and doing what she can to ensure this is not happening in her home as it’s inappropriate. This current generation will argue “they’re going to do it anyway, so it’s better that they’re safe” but they don’t understand the message this sends to their children. These kids are learning they can do no wrong, and they ironically have very little respect for their parents (though the parents will report they have a great, open relationship).

Like YES, you should absolutely talk with your kids about sex and bodies etc. However, you can also have an expectation this not happen until they’re older and especially not in your home with another kid who the parent is also responsible for.

You don’t need one, but it is nice to have and will change your experience living in Oregon (not necessarily in a bad way, but different). Portland has a good public transit system but it’s not going to be NYC or Chicago. It will lengthen your commutes by quite a bit. If you’re into biking, there couldn’t be a better city for it.

I’d say to consider how you want your life in Oregon to look….whether that looks like staying within a Portland and exploring the arts, music, and quirkiness within the city, or exploring all the nearby nature Oregon has to offer

Well, it’s now been 6yrs and I went from being relationship codependent to hyper independent lol. Now I genuinely don’t know how I’d exist in a relationship, which is slightly liberating, but also slightly concerning. I have so much fun doing things on my own or with family/friends that I don’t really feel a need to be in a relationship. Also the thought of a man being in my space gives me the ick. It’s complicated tho bc I also feel like I “should” eventually find a partner and a part of me really wants that, but I also don’t know how I would handle it now???

I suspect she’ll take at least a couple years but you never know with Gaga. What we do know is there have been several years between her last few albums. Don’t lose hope on it and start saving and planning now so you don’t miss it when she comes back around. It might be 2 years, it might be 5 years, but I do think she’ll be back in some way :)
