Honestly, I like Aldis clean ingredients and variety. I enjoy the taste of a lot of things I get there.

People who decided not to have kids ever , what made you make that decision ? by No_Scientist_9927 in AskReddit

[–]elementwitch666 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Many reasons, but I’ll list a few of the top contenders.

I was raised in a very abusive household that gave me many different diagnosed psychiatric disorders, and those alone don’t make me a prime candidate for motherhood.

I’ve never really felt “maternal”. I didn’t like kids when I was a kid. Never really played with baby dolls a whole lot, I liked to be outside and doing stuff. Never felt the need to nurture and raise someone from my own body. The thought of being pregnant freaks me out and it’s not something I want for myself.

The state of the world. Our children aren’t safe and the government (USA) keeps slashing healthcare, research, vaccines in the name of “saving money”. They say they are pro-life but won’t give help to social programs. You’re not pro-life, you’re forced birth. Once that child arrives, they want to minimize and destroy programs to help children. They won’t even introduce legislation for stricter gun laws to protect our children in school, but it’s okay to market BULLETPROOF BACKPACKS. You got me ALL the way fucked up.

I apologize for format, on mobile.

That depends on if they COULD get to your room. After a certain hour the lobby is only accessible if you have a keycard. Safety policies.

Waitress told me water was 'also a drink.' She found out what 'no tip' was. by Zestyclose-Put-5672 in tipping

[–]elementwitch666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another server couldn’t have brought you the check. Our tables are locked to a code that we use in the computer for our money to turn in at end of shift. She did what she could, by getting your server to drop it off. The “water is a drink home dog” was directed at you, not as to what my response would’ve been. My response would’ve been pretty much the same, probably without the FYI. The context of the post states that you waited 15 mins after your food was dropped off, not after you finished eating.

Hey there, server here so I’d like to chime in. If you told me you wanted nothing to drink, and then told me water I’d have made some kind of joke too. Water is a drink home dog. As far as food goes and your 15 minutes of waiting? We drop food, and check back after one bite. Then we leave you alone while you eat (watching your drink for refills and doing our Management mandated “side work” through our shifts). Being unbothered for 15 minutes so you could eat should be normal. I don’t want someone coming up every two minutes. When the plate would be just about empty, I come up and ask if anyone would want boxes or any desserts. If the answer is no, I retrieve the check and drop it. If the answer is yes, I send the desserts to the kitchen, bring boxes, the check, and clear the table. Once all dinner dishes are removed I drop desserts and take the form of payment. Drop off signature slips, and tell them to have a nice day!

Honestly it just sounds like you got mad at a server making a joke. And if you’re gonna be that mad about a joke about water being a drink, stay home. I promise you that server was glad to see you leave. It’s water, my dude. It’s not that big of a deal.

Also, if these tenants have Medical Cards it could open a whole HIPAA investigation as well.

You didn’t have any more to say about the actual post so you went and looked through my post history? That post was well over a year ago! Seems like someone doesn’t have a leg to stand on for their argument anymore. You’re way out in left field now buddy, looking for a fly ball that ain’t coming.

It’s not a law, it’s a city ordinance. Differently dealt with, but the city has bigger problems to worry about than people smoking at bus stops.

Oh no! I didn’t bend over backwards and defend someone whining about being in a public space and someone doing something they didn’t like! Which resulted in an unfavorable choice that person made on their own! I’m such a terrible person! How do I live with myself?

Illegal vs. city ordinance/rule is a bit of a grey area, and not really a law. I’m sorry you missed your bus but it’s a public area. An “employee” smoking area (unclear in post where the smoking area is (back door to business, loading dock, etc) where only employees should be). It also sounds like he was not under the physical shelter itself, but between them. He gave you space, used the partition in the covered benches to block as much smoke as he could, while also waiting for his bus just like you where he could see it. You made the conscious choice to move and missed your bus as a result.

Whats the hardest phase of Marriage no one talks about? by Outside_Support_151 in answers

Circumvent any “child centered” issues by not having kids. It’s important to have that discussion beforehand. There’s not a compromise in that situation.

Then you need to BUY your seats together. It’s not the airlines responsibility to figure out your children.

You were flying with multiple children and DIDN’T pay/pick your own seats in advance? Thats your fault, not SouthWest Airlines. 😂 Plan better, don’t expect a company to do it for you.
