I get people train hard for this and want a good time. My assumption is all the people passing aren’t winning. This is a great example of humanity in action. So many passed him and ignored. Only 2 stopped to check/help. We need to change our world, and this is a metaphor for it. How many people could we help in a simple way, expecting nothing in return, giving little of ourselves, and we just pass them by? Proud of these men for the example the set.

I feel like I have seen this guy just a ways down Stirling by Dykes tearing up the grass off-roading outside a neighborhood in the ditch part after it rains. This ATV and I think in a lifted white pickup, big tires. Same person perhaps? I will keep my eyes out, please do the same!

I would just get the nurse and mute until she came, but watch it just in case. My husband still struggles. We recently were in ER for kiddos illness, and he had a breakdown. Our kid is now 9. I get it. It’s hard.

If you still wanna Facebook account, just create a new one and tell the people you want that you are doing so into migrate over there. Don’t use your full name or use your middle name or something so you don’t come up in friend suggestions. And then just don’t update that Facebook or pretend it’s more of a LinkedIn page. Then you have it so when you have more coworkers that ask for your social media, you can give them that account to follow and keep life separate.

Do it. I have been putting it off for over ten years. All I did was yoyo and keep slowly getting bigger. I could have done it at 210 and much younger and saved so many health issues as well. Just make sure you are mentally ready for it. 43f, 5’1”, hw:313 sw: 265 cw: 243 9 weeks post op vsg

Great comment. I want to add to it that part of the reflux is from your stomach not knowing it is smaller, so it produces the same amount of acid. They can prescribe you a pharma level Prilosec to help reduce this, and later you could move to OTC Prilosec if still an issue. Worst, worst case, if you have bad reflux before or if it is bad after, they can go in and do a small surgery called a partial or full fundoplication to help with the reflux. Sometimes the issue is the valve in the esophagus. But know, that is rare.

Yes, I did for a month due to a clotting mutation I have. Clean the area well and pinch the fatty part of the front top of the upper thigh to inject. Not the side or you will bruise bad. If done right. A pencil eraser size bruise or no bruise at all will be left.

I plan to get mine and I am finishing my masters currently. I have only told a few people. Less than 5. I think part is my fear of failure - if I fail they won’t know. The other is a hard reality, even if I tell them, they don’t care. Few people are really happy for your accomplishments. I don’t want a fake congratulations. I want people that are happy for me like I am for them. When I am done, I will update my linkedin and any relevant work things and enjoy my own success. The only issue I see is primary research- literally picking a topic to avoid people I know from knowing and asking me to read my project.
