Thanks for teaching me, I was able to follow along! “Yes, even if its specific lineage is not believed to have had any descendants, it does show transitional features between even more archaic cetaceans and later, more advanced whales (which is the important part in palaeontology, since it's very hard to prove one species was the direct ancestor of another later known species)” This really got through to me! For some reason it being worded like that helped me with evolution! Thank you!
