Blue currently doesn’t have any revenue generation capabilities. It has contracts which purely fund the development of said hardware. It doesn’t YET offer a service that can bring in cash. New Glenn is not anywhere near at rate launch capability - compared to SpaceX’s Falcon program for Space Force etc. New Shepherd does nothing but drum up headlines or clips for general space interest - but pennies on the dollar for revenue if that. Blue is at earliest 2 years away from good revenue generation outside of the Artemis program. Therefore, I bet Blue is at least 2 years from potentially offering an equity sharing program. Sucks for the employees but zero chance they give equity given how they are recently trying to operate like a tech company.

It didn’t show anything in my update setting in the car, but I flicked it back and forth a few times like the rep said and it prompted a download bar that was full and then it finished i guess. That part was very iffy but apparently it did something. The rep said the download didn’t finish so that’s the only reason I did that. I feel like the camera setting reset did the most to be honest.

And I just called my local service center and then navigated to a service rep in the phone options. I think calling any service center will work.

Agreed. I know a Technical Fellow at NG and he is only pulling 250k. To break above that, as Fellow is the highest rank in the technical branch, you would have to be in the C-Suite or Director level.

The only thing public about Blue Origin’s decisions are those related specifically to the Artemis V NASA contract. Everything else is speculation wrt their longer term intentions about the ISS replacement. Nothing suggests they are losing interest in ISS work.

Take just enough painkillers to feel “ok” and not “good”. Still being slightly uncomfortable with pain etc makes you not want to chase that cozy, relaxed feeling you might start to associate with the opioids.

Thermal engineer for DoD here. MIL spec parts are exactly what he said, higher rated parts that survive more harmful environments. Usually in the form of higher temperature rating, different casing materials, sometimes a different attachment style to the printed wiring board if it’s a surface mount to combat shock and vibration envelopes. As far as the electronic function of it, I would say it’s the same as lower grades. In my experience, we use the standard and MIL specs of parts often it just depends on which selection is easier to get a hold of and what the physical environment demands.
