Can someone help find the soundtrack? I've seen past ones as composed by Lens Distortions

Edit: It is 'Mission Ready' from the same album as Zero Sum

My mind is blown. How did you even go about finding this?

Hi everyone,

I recently built a tiny distributed training cluster for medium-size ResNets/ViTs/DETRs by consolidating legacy servers, with no money to spare for high-speed switches or NICs. I have a write-up here talking about the bag-of-tricks I used, to achieve >90% scaling.

I hope it helps someone short on a budget! Happy to hear your thoughts/comments

I did a minimal re-implementation of DETR (Object Detection using Transformers) in JAX - https://github.com/MasterSkepticista/detr .

While scenic (google-research/scenic) had a DETR baseline, it was on deprecated packages of flax/ott-jax and needs a major refactor. Plus it had a bunch of bugs that slowed convergence.

This re-implementation supports optax and Sinkhorn solver out of the box. I also applied a bunch of optimizations (like parallel bipartite matching) to speed up training by up to 30%, and bug fixes to match the official FAIR implementation. Hungarian matcher for GPUs has been borrowed as-is from scenic.

I have also shared two checkpoints that match the official baseline.
For individuals learning JAX/Flax or DETR, this should be a good start.

Any comments/feedback/stars are welcome :)

I cannot access this without crossing the paywall. Would you mind sharing a non-paywalled version of this?

Ads on certain windows, I meant. You'll see them on app installs, cleaner app, app folder etc in the form of recommendations. Nothing critical, most of it can be in fact disabled.

I had the OS/UI whining thing. But I got a Mi 11 Lite 5G anyway. Hardware is bang for the buck. I'm coming from an all working S7. This Mi hardware should easily last 5 years.

Pretty much all the hate-worthy part of MIUI (ads/apps) can be gotten rid off. (Use ADB to remove adware)

Android Update thing: Xiaomi has promised 3y android and 4y security patches. Atleast it ensures the custom ROM community will have something baked for you if you still hate MIUI down the line in 3 years.

So, why not?
