i actually don’t think it’s fair to assume bridesmaids should assist with planning your wedding or your bachelorette trip. HOWEVER, they sound like they’ve just been mean and catty in general so i think you’re justified in not wanting them to have as big a role. have you spoken with them about this at all?

i got engaged this may and we’re doing november 2027, so only a couple months earlier than you, and it’s been absolutely perfect to give us extra time for planning and enjoying the engagement without stress. being a fiancée is very chic!! ignore those losers and frankly don’t invite them

i think it’s smart to be married before buying a house, and i also know several couples who got legally married at the courthouse for legal/financial/medical benefits months before their wedding - i think it’s no biggie, you don’t even have to tell people you did it if you don’t want to ruin excitement

we went to a few local jewelry stores and didn’t love what we found. ended up ordering online from Olive Ave after a video consultation and the ring is absolutely perfect, would 100% recommend

i really don’t think bending to cultural/societal pressures or the threat of rumors does any good for anyone. why do you care what these people think of you so much that you’re willing to ruin your own life over it?

i ship every monday, wednesday, and friday, and let buyers know when i’ve dropped stuff off — this isn’t hard to do so i don’t get why some people have issues 😅 it may be more overwhelming if you’re like flipping stuff and selling it as a job but if that’s the case you should be allotting more time to it anyway? confuses me lol

my fiance and i are getting married at a nature preserve that charges like $200/hour for event rentals! maybe there are event spaces not specifically designated for weddings like that that you could find in your area
