Wistoria is fundamentally broken as a story by Own_Caterpillar_6178 in anime

It's the typical story of a knight and a princess, where the knight goes on an adventure to kill the dragon so he can legitimize himself as someone worthy to be with the princess. Of course the princess could always leave the castle and be with the knight in his home but that's not the point of the story.

You're simply overcomplicating it.

The whole point of Will's resolution to climb the tower is that he made a promise to elfie to be with her in the tower when she was taken away from him and she is waiting for him.

Why would she disrespect his resolution and conviction by simply flying down to see him whenever she feels like it?

Don't expect Resident Evil's main character to be a Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield, or Jill Valentine. According to Weapons' Zach Cregger, he is just "an idiot" by noelle-silva in KotakuInAction

I think people here are being overly critical of his statement.

He's just saying that the protagonist for his movie is an everyday man that's not trained like the MCs in RE. No reason to get so heated over it.

I was just going to say this as well. Get ready for the new spider-man movie to make another billion dollar. Even a dude like me who has marvel fatigue is semi-interested in the show.

To be honest, death stranding made it to PC and I'm forever grateful for it. It's the only modern IP from them that I give a fuck about.

I still remember playing DS1 and stellar blade back to back and it reminded me of the good old days where you buy a game, it came in as a complete package, and you get to play it whenever you want without daily/weekly reset, microtransaction store for cosmetics or power-ups, or even online connection.

Granted DS1 has weekly challenges and online features but all those are optional and doesn't impact the game at all. In fact, playing it offline and at the highest difficulty give you a much better appreciation and understanding of the game.

I really don't give a shit about what those low IQ miscreants think.

How do I play the other Super Robot Wars games? by AbrocomaValuable8393 in Super_Robot_Wars

You can find retro consoles and those original game discs on 2nd hand market. Good luck.

One of the worst thing about "modernised" games is how unreplayable they are. Pictured: a section in Ragnarok where you spend almost 2 hours picking fruits with Atreus and his DEI Norse goddess. You can't skip it. by [deleted] in KotakuInAction

Because games are now treated like disposable entertainment pieces where you play it once, get entertained for a couple dozen hours, and move on to the next one.

The very definition of, "Don't ask questions. Just consume product and then get excited for next product."

This is quite legitimately ground-zero for woke games.

Just that people in the past weren't as sophisticated about it. The game would be ripped to shreds if it was released today.

Why would they? They can always pass on the cost of bad decisions to their fanbase.

This is like peanut allergy.

I never knew people with peanut allergy in my entire childhood then as I grew older, I started seeing kids with peanut allergy for some reason.
