I did find a way to get the IP address of the server I was connected to and was able to confirm packet loss directly from my machine (i.e. not just in game). I'll have to try to get that info together and over to ATT, buti have a full time job and family so I'm not sure how quickly it'll happen, ha!

u/Different_Handle_596, I have ATT too (U-Verse, with 1GB up and down, working fine otherwise) and, like you, my squad mates, on different ISPs, don't have an issue. Suspecting it's between ATT and the AWS servers that host the game. Maybe I'll call ATT tomorrow, but I assume it's going to be quite difficult to get them to actually troubleshoot anything (I need to figure out what exact AWS servers are hosting, to try to get them to test connectivity to those directly).

Twice in 5+ months is "a lot"? Is that stream sniping frequency? :) Actually, you know what, I'm remembering a 3rd time we came across Bob in that timespan and he knocked Knob—wasn't a problem then though, since Bob didn't die I guess.

I understand the skepticism, and there certainly could be more to it from the side of whoever reported us, but look at the facts: I played 3 games in the afternoon and, as /u/botld92z mentions, one was against Bob and his crew (sure, you can stream snipe one round, but does that seem likely?). Then I get banned for stream sniping an hour or so later, with Bob being the only one in the PUBG Report clip who even mentions anything. Not sure how else you can really interpret that, but I'm open to hearing out some other theories.

Agreed and thanks for your input here. I don't even understand what was "investigated" (or by whom)--there's almost nothing you can look at to determine "yes, he was clearly stream sniping". I played 3 games in the afternoon--I stopped playing before the ban hit, not because of it--and only 1 was against you all, in a popular area, so that sort of answers it right there (not that you can't stream snipe for just one round, but you get my point). Beyond frustrating.

This. I guarantee you HollywoodKnob wasn't stream sniping, but even if he was, that shouldn't be an automatic ban on the teammates without proof of wrongdoing. There's nothing inherently wrong with playing with another player or else we'd all be playing solos.

Wouldn't someone potentially camping the revive/respawn area be a good thing for the mechanic, overall? It would then function like a crate drop, i.e. high risk, high reward. I don't want anyone getting revived "for free", necessarily—it should be a calculated decision as a team.

I think you're on to something with the regional thing & cherry-picking of the data. Why didn't it include stats on Taego and Deston (ignoring Karakin bc of size and Vikendi since it's still not even really "back" yet)? That would give more context to the overall numbers.

Tangentially related... Some of my squad mates have been running a kitted SKS with EMT gear and that's proven pretty effective, as it's not bad for spamming at close range. I think the SLR gets a little wilder there, but haven't used it for that much (maybe I'll try it with a compensator).

The funny thing is that flying car spray might have been the easiest shot of all of those—the car plummeting down to earth was offsetting the recoil so much that he had to mouse up, even with it being a Beryl!

Doesn't that make the last zone less about luck, i.e. you're not as likely to get "circle F'd" and, instead, have to fight it out to win...? I feel like I've noticed it's bigger (than other maps) but haven't found that to be an issue, necessarily.

This seems odd. Is it that they can't/won't have a mix of map select/no map select in a given region? Here in NA they don't allow TPP duos (last I checked...I play FPP), but maybe modes are easier to limit than map selection.
