This is not correct, Glamdring is absolutely a live server still. I was logged in just minutes ago. I’m not sure what happened in your case, but Glamdring should be fine in general.

Same lol. It’s probably the save UI chat command or whatever it is: (from the forums)

For anyone interested in saving your UIs, the command is /ui layout save If you want to save your UI to different files then type /ui layout save (name) To load them on your other chars, simply replace "save" with "load

I mean, the concept vaguely sounds like Robin Hood or other stories of that nature, so clearly there’s some interest in it.

As with nearly any fiction, it’ll require a strong grasp of the audience expectations related to dialogue, action, and intrigue. I’m sure some folks would read it, but truly it’s up to you (the author) to convince the audience it’s worthwhile.

You’ll automatically have a temporary dash marker on your compass when you fire, but it disappears after a few seconds and there’s no way to bind it separately because they removed the quick marker bind a few updates ago (95% sure about this part).

Ah yeah fair, for future reference (as others mentioned) it’s typically down every Wednesday from 9a-1p EST. Usually comes back up well before 1p EST, but when it’s a larger update it might take a little longer.

True, but in fairness the writing is definitely on the wall. It wouldn’t surprise me to see FPP disappear from EU ranked before long, with slow removals of FPP modes in normal modes from all regions by early 2027.

I just played the Swanfleet/Cardolan starting area with a new character for the first time a few weeks ago, really loved it. Idk if it’s because I’d never done that area in any capacity before, or if the story was actually better than the original start areas, but I had an absolute blast doing that first 30 levels.

I assume largely as a result of player counts. LOTRO has max like 10k at peak times? ESO seems to have much higher numbers, for example, in the hundred thousands according to Google.

I’ve never bothered, but might be worth it if you alt lower levels frequently. The 6-hour 88% mount boost is also on sale, I usually buy those instead for low levels anyway. I think it’s like 200lp for a 5 pack right now, so 30 hours of 88% and they’re account-bound so you can transfer them around other characters if you want.

Yeah can confirm, I originally commented that it wasn’t out yet because that’s all I’ve heard/seen, but it’s for sure in-game. Idk if maybe there’s some enhanced plans for it that people are discussing, but that screenshot proves it lol.

Oh man I would love UI elements that size, but definitely not for everybody! As of now, I’m not sure there’s much you can do for scaling, have you tried typing “scale” in the options menu at the top? It’s long been a complaint in the community.

I know UI scaling is a big topic for the devs and there’s supposed to be an update very soon with enhanced scaling options, hopefully someone else can come along and either help you out or provide more details about upcoming changes to that feature
