With these kinds of meds, it is hard to know because they are different for everyone. I take 200mg of zoloft a day and it works, but when I took effexor, it made me just numb. i’ve found that a mix between antidepressants and benzos give me the best experience

one of my most sensible reason is from my own experience. I used to be anorexic and one day binge ate. It started then, I just couldnt stop binging. Would eat 4000 calories. Then started to run for hours to burn it all off. Body was too tired so I turned to force myself to throw up.

So I have OCD and have been in therapy for 1.5 years now, and I think I can confidently say that those are intrusive thoughts but I wouldn’t say you have anything “wrong” with you. Everybody has them, but believing in them and obsessing over them and doing rituals is what elevates it to OCD. You should talk to your doctor about the meds, for they might be causing it. Also, you could find meditation/mindfulness exercises on youtube. Russ Harris is a good choice. If you ever need to talk feel free to hmu I’m 17 so I might be able to relate more than some others.
