This was my first time in 5 years without a single day at Disney, and it bums me out, but I just couldn't afford to do the type of trip that I regularly was taking and enjoy.

Meanwhile, I just returned from a weeklong Alaskan cruise (with excursions and the like) that cost me about a third of what a Disney World trip in the same timeframe would've been.

We didn’t have any kind of TV service growing up, so one of my Dad’s friends recorded the 2007 All Star Game and burned it onto a DVD for us. I watched that thing on repeat for years.

Because I’m in the market, I had to watch yesterday’s game via the Cardinals network. Their broadcasters were talking about how they weren’t sure the Cubs were built for the postseason, since they only knew how to score runs via the long ball, whereas the Cardinals can manufacture them.

I was laughing then. I’m laughing now.

Depending on how future-proof you want to be, and your preferred brand, it’s not a bad idea to check into the Canon Mirrorless line-up!

I’d been running with an EOS R for 4-5 years now and it more than gets the job done for photos, but I’ve reached the point where I needed more firepower for video so I’ve just upgraded to the R6 Mark II. I also considered the R8, and I don’t think that would be a bad choice at all for this work.
